ABOUT CYBERMIND

A Toronto consultancy where AI detection meets human judgment

CyberMind Inc. is a defensive cybersecurity practice headquartered at 460 Richmond Street West, Suite 200, in Toronto's Entertainment District. We help Canadian mid-market organizations and scale-ups detect, investigate and contain digital threats — using machine-learning detection and threat intelligence, always reviewed by qualified security analysts.

WHO WE ARE

Professional services, not a product shelf

CyberMind was founded on a straightforward observation: most Canadian organizations cannot afford a twenty-four-hour internal SOC, yet they face the same threat actors as large enterprises. Off-the-shelf SIEM defaults generate noise. Managed security providers often treat every client identically. And the market is full of vendors promising automated protection without explaining what happens when the automation is wrong.

We occupy a different position. CyberMind is a consultancy — we embed with your team, tune detection to your environment and stay accountable through human-verified reporting. We are registered in Canada under BN 826194537 RC0001. We invoice in CAD. We understand PIPEDA and provincial privacy obligations because our clients operate under them daily.

We are explicitly not a hacking-for-hire firm, not a spyware vendor, not a surveillance operation and not a self-serve SaaS dashboard you log into once and forget. We are also not a training course or certification mill. We do security work, with your authorization, for organizations that need detection capability without building an entire department from scratch.

PRINCIPLES

How we operate

01

Authorized work only

Every assessment, monitoring engagement and incident response support activity requires written client authorization with defined scope. We do not perform unauthorized access, offensive hacking against third parties or surveillance of individuals.

02

Human-in-the-loop always

AI-driven detection and anomaly detection models flag candidates for review. A qualified analyst verifies every escalation. We log false positives and feed them back into detection engineering — the system improves because humans correct it, not because we trust it blindly.

03

Honest about limits

No provider can guarantee complete security or promise you will never experience a breach. We reduce and manage risk through better detection, faster triage and structured response support. We say this plainly because overstated promises undermine the trust our clients place in us.

04

Canadian context first

From billing in CAD to understanding how Quebec's privacy framework interacts with PIPEDA, we build our practice for the regulatory and operational reality of Canadian firms — not a US-centric playbook with the city name swapped.

THE STUDIO

Richmond Street West, Toronto

Our studio at 460 Richmond Street West, Suite 200, serves as the operational hub for analyst work, client workshops and detection engineering sessions. While much of our delivery is remote — integrating with client SIEM, EDR and cloud environments across Canada — the Toronto base anchors our team, our governance processes and our in-person client meetings when needed.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Eastern Time. For retainer clients with incident response support, escalation paths exist outside standard hours as defined in each engagement letter. General enquiries reach us at [email protected] or +1 (416) 351-7042.

Privacy-related requests should be directed to [email protected]. For legal entity details, see our Legal information page.

CAPABILITIES

What our analysts bring

Our team combines experience across SOC operations, detection engineering, threat intelligence and incident response — with ongoing training in AI/ML security considerations as the threat landscape evolves.

DETECTION

SIEM · EDR · XDR

Integration and tuning across major platforms. We work with your existing stack rather than forcing a vendor migration.

INTELLIGENCE

Sector-specific TI

Curated threat intelligence translated into detection logic — not raw feed dumps your team will never action.

GOVERNANCE

PIPEDA-aligned

Data handling agreements, processing records and privacy-conscious telemetry access for Canadian compliance contexts.

Work with us

Whether you need a one-time detection review or ongoing SOC support, we start with a conversation about your environment — not a sales deck.
